If "Create New" is the easiest action available, users will create new records. If search is the natural first step, the system encourages employees to confirm whether the record already exists. That has direct implications for data quality.

• fewer fragmented records,

• and greater confidence in management reporting.

The database improves because the workflow improves.

There is another important concept behind this build:

Not every user needs the full application.

An administrator may need access to dozens of fields and multiple modules. A frontline staff member may need only a focused interface for:

1. finding a client,

2. creating one when necessary,

3. recording the service being provided,

4. and moving on.

The technology underneath can still be sophisticated. The employee experience doesn't have to be.
